SIX-YEAR-OLD Blake Crossin has gratefully thanked bikers, pub owners and the public who raised $5000 to help him.

The money will enable Blake's mum and dad, Jo and Jonathan, to stay with him in Melbourne where he must undergo open heart surgery on June 2.
The funds were raised on May 16 as a convoy of 40 motorcyclists called in at pubs at Cambridge, Campania, Sorell and Lewisham.
The event, a spontaneous reaction to Blake's story in the Mercury on May 1, also featured a monster auction.
Organiser Yogi Leonneker said it felt great to help someone in need - and he now felt like an extra member of Blake's family.
Mrs Crossin said the money was a godsend as she had no way of knowing whether Blake's hospital stay was going to last three weeks or three months - and the f
amily had to forgo income during that period.
The family has also linked up with HeartKids Australia, a group that supports children with heart disease. Melissa Bannister began a local branch four years ago after the death of her nine-day-old son Noah.
