Cardic Ward 7 West

They moved Blake up to the Ward about 7.30 last night but wasn't really settled until about 11am with staff change overs and setting medications/drains back up I stayed the night on the fold out couch
2am he had a Cather reinserted it was horrible the nurse had 3 tries then the Dr had another 2 tries poor Blake but he was so good he only cryed out it hurts which i would have been screaming but he felt much more comfortable after it was in.
Blake is staying Strong he is worried to move as it hurts but he's slowly getting there he is really hating his fluid restrictions i would to he is up to 80mls hr but that is high because of all the fluid loss thought the chest drain which they will are reviewing today they have also asked Blake to eat fatty food so it will be McDonald's for morning tea well if he eats it as he has eaten must yet he did have some puree apple but was sick so he is a little scared to eat now

Well Macca's Didn't work well Blake ate 2 chips he tryed some pears for lunch. They tried giving him some laxatives and a different type of pain relief but it all came back up. He is still very sore and scared to move they gave him some more morf and he is very sleepy and still crabby as i wont get him any kind of drink but he is slowly getting use to it now and has started asking if it is time for a drink
