The Day Of Blake's Operation

The Day starts of extra Early as Blake can't have a drink after 5.30 and has to have an extra long shower to make sure he is extra clean as there is no Bath (I'm glad it's not my water) and then we have to be at the Hospital at 6.45
WELL what a long day Blake wasn't on the surgery list for today and they can't work out why so in the end they canceling the boy who was scheduled to have afternoon surgery and scheduled Blake in. To break up the morning Blake was a test patient for some Dr studying cardiology and they did a pretty good job pointing out what was wrong or might be with Blake's Heart and what surgery's we has had and was about to have without reading any previous history and we waited around some more and at about 11.30 they started to admit Blake We Meet with the Anaesthetist and Blake's Surgeon Dr Yves D'Udekem,one of the TOP 3 Surgeons ( you may have seen him on and then the bed in the operating theater wasn't working -(going up and down) so that had to be fix and Blake went into surgery at 12.55(going though the doors with Daddy)
Got a Call at 5.55pm to say surgery went well but one of Blake lung values were smaller then he thought and he could do anything about it and we could go see him in ICU in an Hr so hr later we went up there and they told us that Blake wasn't there ready and will be another 30min so we waited in the parents room then 40 later Blake still wasn't ready this was staring to worry us as when he had is first OP he crashed in ICU the and had to go back to Theatre but at 9.30 we could finally go in and see him they told us they had been having trouble trying to stabilise his blood presser it was way to high but i still don't know why it took so long for him to even get to ICU but he is there and he is now stable and it DOES NOT get any easier seeing you little Babies hooked up to all the machines
